Using power-division non-orthogonal multiple access (PD-NOMA) as an example, we demonstrate how this approach mitigates the challenge of power allocation in multi-cell networks. Our method reduces the search space for optimization, significantly decreasing computational overhead while ensuring efficient spectrum utilization. In principle, the method reduces the dimensions of search space by half. Extensive analysis and simulations validate its effectiveness, highlighting its potential for practical deployment in next-generation wireless networks. The proposed framework can help streamline resource allocation in complex communication environments, enhancing system performance and scalability.","short_abstract":"This paper presents a heuristic method for simplifying resource allocation in access systems, leveraging the concept of comparative advantage to reduce computational complexity while maintaining near-optimal performance.
